  1. Remove all 14 of the 4 mm screws on the back side of  the laptop with a Phillips #1 screwdriver. Remove all 14 of the 4 mm screws on the back side of  the laptop with a Phillips #1 screwdriver. Remove all 14 of the 4 mm screws on the back side of  the laptop with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

  5. Unplug speaker wires from the motherboard using a spudger or plastic opening tool. Using a metal spudger as shown in the photo could potentially damage your device.

  12. Unplug the wire from the motherboard. Remove the heat sink.
    • Unplug the wire from the motherboard.

    • Remove the heat sink.

  13. Remove the CPU. Remove the CPU.
    • Remove the CPU.

  14. Unscrew the motherboard with the Phillips #1 screwdriver. Unscrew the motherboard with the Phillips #1 screwdriver. Unscrew the motherboard with the Phillips #1 screwdriver.
    • Unscrew the motherboard with the Phillips #1 screwdriver.

  15. Unplug wire from the motherboard. Remove the motherboard. Remove the motherboard.

    • Unscrew the keyboard cover using the #1 screwdriver.

  17. Remove the keyboard cover.
    • Remove the keyboard cover.

  18. Remove the keyboard.
    • Remove the keyboard.
