RAM (Random Active Memory) is a type of computer memory that correlates with how quickly your computer can access information. Your RAM stick can be upgraded and replaced easily. First we will open the back of the laptop. After, we can easily remove and upgrade/replace your RAM.

Remove the bottom cover of your laptop. For instructions on how to do this, visit the Toshiba Satellite P55-A5312 Back Cover Removal Guide

Locate the RAM stick in the bottom left hand corner of the laptop.

Carefully pull apart the plastic tabs that hold the RAM in place with your hands.

The RAM stick should pop upwards when released correctly.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
