Einleitung
Is your Toshiba Satellite P55W-C5200X running very slowly and slow to respond, or is it not even turning the screen on? The cause may lay with a faulty or mismatched RAM. You may not have enough RAM or may not have a compatible type to your motherboard. For any of these reasons a replacement or change may be in order.
All tools that will be needed are listed below to gain access and change out your devices RAM. This is a very simple process and low risk as well, the only advise would be to make sure the device is turned off and to be careful when handling the RAM and the slots they go into.
This guide will tell Toshiba Satellite P55W-C5200X users how to replace there RAM. It is an easy-level process that takes 5-10 minutes to complete.

Use the Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the ten 4.0 mm screws located at the bottom of the laptop.

Use the black nylon spudger to pry the back casing along the edges.

Continue to pry along the edge of the back case until the back is ready to be removed.

Remove the four 6.0 mm screws that hold the battery in place using the JIS #000 screwdriver.

Disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard by carefully pulling on the black wire at the point closest to the white tab.

There are two metal brackets holding each RAM stick in place. Carefully move the metal brackets outward on both sides at the same time.

Pull the RAM sticks out.
