Follow Step 1 on Battery Replacement Guide to remove the back panel of the device.

Using the tip of the nylon spudger, lift up the piece of black electrical tape in the upper right corner of the device.

Completely remove the tape using spudger or fingers.

Slide the connector upwards with the nylon spudger to remove it.

Pull the flat cable up to remove the power button from the slot it is in.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
