Was du brauchst

Drehe das Gerät mit der Unterseite nach oben.

Finde die Füße in den vier Ecken des Balance Boards.

Drehe an jeder Abdeckung die drei 12,7 mm Kreuzschlitzschrauben heraus.

Wiederhole die Schritte für alle anderen Füße.

Drehe zehn 12,7 mm Kreuzschlitzschrauben #1 heraus.

Hebe die graue Rückseite ab.

Finde das graue Batteriefach.

Drücke unten die Lasche und hebe den Batteriefachdeckel ab.

Drehe die beiden 6,35 mm Kreuzschlitzschrauben #1 heraus.

Schiebe das Batteriefach heraus.

Were can I get a battery case replacement holder for my wii fit balance board
Do we wipe down something after that?
New batteries. Start “button" blinks, then turns off. Any suggestions?
After removing it I soaked the battery case in vinegar for maybe 30 minutes. A little toothbrush work and all of the crap was gone. Rinsed it, dried it, put it back in. While it soaked I also used vinegar on the spring battery terminal that is cabled to the base. Cleaned up very nicely.

Then what do you do after you remove the battery case?
Is there a way to open the top of the board by sliding or lifting the top? I bought a gently used wii fit. The lady who sold it to me very quickly opened the top of the board from the centre seam to show me the instruction manual and I think hook up cables. I cannot, for the life of me figure out how she did it! Any ideas or technical wizardry you can share?

Can be helpful if you need to clean the battery holder after the battery has leaked, rather remove the battery box than put liquid near the pcb's. - thanks!
What you do next is… check Amazon for a GameOn Fit Balance Rechargeable Battery Pack (Wii) , then look at Ebay to find one at half the price!
