Remove the dust bin by gently pressing the silver button on top of the vacuum until the bin releases.

Grip the bottom of the dust bin. Push up on the tabs as indicated by the yellow arrows.

Empty contents of bin into waste receptacle and rinse with water as needed.

Replace or clean filter under a stream of water. When reinserting filter, make sure the filter's cut corner is in the correct corner.
