Introduction
Has your hairdryer stopped working? Is it not producing the right amount of heat needed to dry your hair as it used to? This guide will show you step-by-step how to carefully replace its switchboard from an old one to a new.
Before you start, please be aware of the wiring elements and the heating system inside. The hairdryer may not be on or plugged in, but take caution when going about Step 7 through 9. ***Turn the hairdryer off and unplug it prior to this repair.***
Use the proper tools for this, too, such as the [product|IF145-021|Philips #1 Screwdriver|new_window=true] to take parts of the hairdryer off - as seen in Steps 2, 5, and 6, not your fingers (unless you are wearing protective gloves). And be sure to have a [product|IF145-238|Soldering Workstation|new_window=true] at the ready to help you do this project correctly and safely as well.
