[* black] Place your fingernail underneath the small black tab of the upper flex cable attached to the screen and lift upward.
[* black] Pull the cable horizontally towardaway from the bottomscreen half of the kindle until the cable disconnects from its socket.
[* icon_cautionicon_note] Be careful not to crease or bend the flex cable to much. Tootoo much as that can break the flex cable and cause connection issues.
