-[* black] ***Hard Disk snapshots***: Close the laptop, and do not mess with it until the power light goes out. If you have a SSD, HDD or SSHD this will affect the time this takes to happen, so do not touch it until it's off. ***This is how mine is set.***
-[* black] ***RAM Dump***: First, save anything you are working on to a flash drive or the internal hard drive and then shut the laptop down before doing this.
-[* icon_note] If you have the power cord handy and it saves the system state to RAM, simply plug the power cord in as this will help preserve what you are doing.
-[* icon_reminder] Even if you do a system snapshot, it may be a good idea to save everything. Sometimes on dodgy drives hyberfil.sys doesn't save correctly, and you end up having to trash the snapshot. I have even seen this on good drives.
