iMac Intel 20" EMC 2133 und 2210 RAM austauschen

Einleitung

Rüste den RAM auf und dein iMac wird sofort schneller.

EMC 2133 Modelle sind mit PC2-5300 RAM und EMC 2210 Modelle mit PC2-6400 RAM ausgestattet. Die maximale Speichergröße beträgt bei beiden 6 GB.

Was du brauchst

  1. iMac Intel 20" EMC 2133 und 2210 RAM austauschen, Schutzblech: Schritt 1, Bild 1 von 1

    • Löse die Kreuzschlitzschraube in der Mitte des Schutzblechs.

    • Diese Schraube lässt sich nicht komplett vom Blech entfernen.

    • Entferne das Schutzblech vom iMac.

    Übersetzen

    • Ziehe die schwarzen Plastiklaschen am RAM mit dem Spudgerspitze aus dem Speicher-Einschub.

    • Ziehe die schwarze Plastiklasche aus dem iMac heraus, um den RAM Chip auszuwerfen.

    Übersetzen

    • Fasse den RAM Riegel an seinen Kanten an und ziehe ihn aus seinem Sitz heraus.

    • Wenn zwei RAM Riegel eingebaut sind, dann musst du diesen Schritt für den zweiten wiederholen.

Abschluss

Um dein Gerät wieder zusammenzusetzen, folge den Schritten in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.

I currently have a 4GB memory module installed on an EMC 2210 in one of the memory slots. Can I still install the original 1GB ram in the other slot making it 5GB total memory?

I installed 2GB x2 to mine to upgrade from 1GB x2. It took just minutes and I used a regular philips screw driver I found around home. Pull hard on the black straps to get the memory out. It is working great with no problems. Good luck!

Thank you for the guide. I had 2GB. I took out 1 module to add a 4GB module. So easy and now my 2133 iMac is jaw dropping fast.
