A white screen usually indicates a hard drive issue. Try starting up from the original system installation disk. That failing, disconnect the hard drive cable and try with the DVD again. Please give us the last three figures of your serial number.

Have you tried a Safe (shift) boot? Have you tried to boot from your repair disk and run AHT? Help us help you. The more we know of the history and things you've already done the more help we can be.
