Sometimes the dot is green and sometimes the dot is blue. I think the red dot is an indication the person you are trying to contact is traveling like in a vehicle. So that you don't constantly distract them while there driving and alternately when that dot turns green theat they are stationary and now would be a good time to contact them to hrough messages.

So could that mean I'm blocked ?
What the red dot means is that the person you are trying to send the text message to has blocked your calls and text in there security settings. I tested it and this is the culprit.

that is wrong. because there is a red dot next to my wife's contact. but not from my ex-wife who i know has me blocked.
It is not blocked. I am in the middel a text conversation with someone who has the red dot by there name.

Hi,
Not sure but it might either mean that is has been designated 'high priority' (check text settings) or that it has not been sent. (check your sent texts and see if it is missing)

On the tab, there is a red dot at the end of it. I am confused. Does it mean that I am not available. I would have to think. Green Means Available and red means unavailable on textnow, Right?
