My laptop was taken to a "specialist", to be cleaned out. Got it back with a bunch of my important hardware deleted. Can't find anywhere that will sell just plan hardware disks to redownload everything. Is wondering if there is anyway that setting it back to factory settings or anything else would help.

Rosie, that will only work if you have the original Dell disks. It sounds to me like you are looking for the drivers for your hardware. Check this page on what to do for a new/clean install. All the drivers for your computer are available through Dell on this site. Install them as outlined in the instructions. Hope this helps, good luck.
