Hey guys i've fixed so many ipad 2 digitizers so I kinda have an idea how it works, what to be careful with and so forth. Anyways I had a customer bring in their ipad 2 with a cracked screen but the touch was already not working. I opened it up changed digitizer and it is still not responding. I tried 4 more digitizers and none worked. any suggestions? thanks
Ist dies eine gute Frage?
Maybe something is wrong with the logic board. Or the digitizer port.

I just replaced a digitizer on an ipad 2 GSM and had the same problem. On closer examination, I realized that I had not taken off the protective plastic shield on the inside of the digitizer. Once I removed it, all worked perfectly.

I am having a similar problem with my iPad 2. I just got the screen replaced with a third party retailer, and now the bottom of the screen is not responsive to touch. More specifically, I can type on the keyboard but I can't press the space bar. I'm wondering if this is because they did it wrong or if this is not a genuine part. Thanks!
