Spilled Water on MacBook Air and now won't turn on :(

Hi guys, I joined ifixit to get the best advice possible on my situation. Last night, I spilled about 1/3 cup of water on my macbook air's keyboard. I had a silicon keyboard guard on but somehow the water seeped through the edges and maybe through the vents of the machine. I what water visible and thought I was ok. That was the mistake. I didn't not boot down and wait for the machine to dry but continued to use it. About an hour later, the machine turned off. For the remainder of the night, I placed macbook air in a sealed bag of rice to sit overnight. In the morning, I tried turning the machine on and it wouldn't turn on. When I plug the magsafe connector in, it shows orange when before it didn't show anything. Is this a sign of anything? Is there anything I can do to save my computer. Is the logic board damaged? I have an appointment with the Genius Bar but not sure what they can do. I appreciate all of your help guys. Thank you.

Ok guys, I tried again and it booted up with the Apple Logo! I immediately turned it off, turned it upside down and will try let it dry more before trying again. This is a good sign right? How much longer before trying to boot again? Also, I placed it in front of a window with direct sunlight which may have sped up the drying process. Thanks.

Silica Gel Packets...

Silica Gel is a dry solid, not a slick or wet substance as the name might suggest. Inside the white packets are beads of this dry solid material that remain dry to the touch even when fully saturated. The Silica Gel beads absorb moisture through the porous packet material.

The Silica Gel, made from sodium silicate, is a highly porous substance that can absorb up to 40% of its own weight, which makes this the highest absorption capacity of any commercially used Desiccant.

Put it in a plastic bag with a bunch of silica packets and hope for the best if you don't want to disassemble and clean the system in a traditional fashion.
