Can't make or receive calls

I replaced the battery last night and checked that I could still make a call. Everything seemed fine. I found the installation tricky, but did not think I damaged anything. 12 hours later every call I try to make fails (even though I have several reception bars) and all incoming calls go straight to voicemail. Did I damage one of the cables? They all appeared reconnected appropriately.
