I recently changed the lcd for my iphone 4s. Before the change I tested it out and it would say insert sim (no sim included, purchased from ebay). I installed and now it just shows 'searching' and no longer asks to insert a sim card, even when there is not one inserted. I took it apart again and checked all connections. So right now it will not activate at all.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

Just had the same issue , hooked it up to my macbook and it automatic changed the time and date, then turned it off and on again, .. Fine !

Yeah I tried itunes, but it just says can not activate.

is it the ios 6 bug? check if the time and date are set right

Time is set correctly. I can not see the date due to not being able to go past the activation screen.

check you battery connector, maybe one of the 4 solderpoints are damaged.
