Mac running slow and fan running at high speed after water spill.
I have pretty much the same problem as "tristan" did a year ago:
''I recently spilled water on my computer and did not remove the bottom casing, much less the battery, as I now know I should have.
Precisely somes drops of water touched the back of the laptop.
I am able to start the computer and get to my desktop however at start up the fan immediately begins and the computer loads VERY slowly.
Once completely booted, the same continues. I have turned off all "at start up" settings for all apps.''
But the Hardware Test shows an error code slightly different from the one he had:
4SNS/1/0000008:Th1H--124
And these are the stats for my computer:

Reseting SMC and PRAM as advised by ABCellars did not work for me.
Any help would be fantastic...
Thank you very much in advance,

edit: I just ran Fan Control and saw that the right fan is at -1rpm while the left is at more than 6000 and at 34.2C, is it just not functioning at all?
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

Don't mess with any thing on the computer and call a technician or tech support and see if they can help you.

I finally went to a shop called "iClinique" in Brussels where I paid 115 euros to get rid of a tiny quantity of oxidated water on the motherboard. Now it's working perfectly. Hopefully it won't happen again, but if it does I will surely do it myself...
