On screen message is "low battery please wait". Will not turn on or do anything else.

Try charging it if u cant and it still says low batery Mine only says that when it is dead if it is not dead then try reformating it of try sending it to apple if it is watter damaged then they wont fix it for you they might it depends what iPod you have that is the price
