fone switched itself off now i have battery with red cross on it on the screen

Hi, I think this is definitively a battery issue. What u can do is remove ur battery from the bb and wait for 5 mins. Put ur battery in. Do not try to switch the phone on. Plug ur charger to ur bb and charge for 30 mins. If this does not help then u might need to change ur battery. Battery with the red cross means the bb thinks there is no battery plugged into the bb. Hope this helps. Write back on what u did. Good luck.
