How do you find the logic board# pertaining to a specific iMac?

I have an iMac 17" Intel core duo. MA199LL/A, Model A1173 EMC: 2104. Serial ends in U2N.

I after much research in the symptoms before this computer died, I have come to the conclusion that the graphics has burnt out.

I believe that I should replace the logic board to get this computer back up and running but I noticed that there are a lot of different logic board numbers out there and I don't know which one pertains to mine. e.g. 820-1919-A, 661-3877 or 820-2052-A 661-4291

how do I go about finding that out or does that even matter?

Yes, that looks right to me. How do I go about getting a service manual? or is there no way something like that is available to the general public?

silentdrkangel, First off I do have to admit that I am not a Mac person, just a general hardware person, so take my answer with a grain of salt :-) According to your serial number, your computer uses a 1.83Ghz processor. The part number in the service manual list your logic board as 661-3877 which is also 820-1919-A, and is for the early 2006 iMac. Late 2006 iMac used the Logic Board 661-4105, 2.0 GHz 661-4106, 2.16 GHz 661-4290, 2.0 GHz 661-4291, 2.16 GHz. This is due to the Intel Core Duo processor speed ( ICD = Intel Core Duo, 32-bit processor, 820-1919-A, 661-3877 Logic Boards. Memory is 2Gb RAM maximum) and an increase in Ram Intel Core 2 Duo (- IC2D = Intel Core 2 Duo, 64-Bit processor, 820-2052, 661-4291 Logic Boards. Memory is 4Gb RAM maximum).
