Do it yourself SSD

Hi, i recently bought a 2012 21.5" higher end model.

I decided to install a blade type SSD from a Macbook air.

I successfully installed the chip, but when i tested it, it didn't recognized it. On top of that i got a vertical gray line on my screen, despite of me being extremely careful.

Why did this happened?
