The bottom LCD screen fades out after 5-10 min.

the bottom LCD screen on my DSI, fades out so you can hardly see the picture after about 5-10 min. if i turn it off for a bit it goes back to normal. there is all so two screws above the battery pack and one of them are missing. thanks for your time.
