MacBook Pro A1286 replacement battery, where to buy?

My macbook pro 5,4 battery is only holding about 67% and it appears it is time for a replacement. I have been looking online and found some for sale ranging from $60-$75 but I am not sure if they are 100% OEM, is there any way to tell? I had a 3rd party one in my old Macbook and had no problems, has anyone ran into an issues using a 3rd party one? From what I have read it is about $130 plus tax to get one from Apple so I am not sure if it is worth the savings.

Max charge goes to 97%, it has 948 cycles and the battery is about 4 years old. My macbook battery popped after about 3 or 4 years and since this one is internal I don't want that to happen and mess up anything else. I also have a service battery warning so I figured it was time for a replacement. I am more concerned if a 3rd party one is worth the savings?

You get what you pay for, and, you pay for what you get... Free "words of wisdom" from my father.

I'd stick with the few extra dollars and buy an OEM (from Apple or from and Apple Store) because this battery isn't as easy to swap if it's bad as the external access ones were. Any battery can be a dud right from the box, but, IMnsHO it's more likely the cheaper the battery is the more chance you'll get a new one that needs to be exchanged.

The first quality batteries go to the top tier manufacturers... as they drop lower in quality they become cheaper and are sold to "unknown" manufacturers/suppliers. This same scheme is followed in Optics and a few other devices.

For what its worth, Apple's ratings for their OEM batteries on their own site are very poor.
