Power button not working

I bought a Dell E19FPc monitor in a bundle on Craigslist and it won't power on. The guy said he tested it and it worked before I got it. I got home, plugged it in, and it won't turn on- the power button doesn't blink or show a light or anything. I tried another cable and outlet and same thing. I hear something rattling inside it, it may be part of the power supply or something.

Jon Sparks, luckily there are only a few parts in the case:-). I would suggest you open it up and lets find out what is going on. Follow the guides Dell E193FPc to disassemble it and post images with your question of what you find. Adding images to an existing answer

Here's a few pictures I took. I tried plugging stuff back in, I think the rattling noise was just a piece of the Dell bezel symbol that came off, once I took everything out of the casing I didn't hear any noise. However it still won't turn on, I have no idea what the problem is.

Hi Jon Sparks, great pics. Do me one big favor and close up on the power board It looks like there4 are some burn marks on the backside. Zoom in on the caps as well.
