What´s the purpose of the adhesive foam sponge (short)?
I´m replacing the Logic Board in a 13" macbook (late 2006). The adhesive foam sponge (56 x 6 mm), over the two thermistor connectors near the heat sink, had lost the adhesive gum after peeling it off. Can i apply some kind of gum (what?) to the sponge or have to buy a new (and expensive!) sponge like this: http://www.welovemacs.com/9227670.html ?
Ist dies eine gute Frage?
