iPhone turn off after successful repair
After replacing the dock connector, digitizer and battery in my Iphone 4s the phone booted up and worked perfectly. After making sure that everything was alright I started to put that back plate on and was having trouble getting it in the right spot it needed to be in to slide into place. After a couple minutes i decided to try using a little bit of force and pressed down on the backplate and the phone turned off and wont turn back on at all. Ive tried hard resetting it and taking out the battery and connecting it back in and i get no response. Does anybody have any ideas what might have happened?
Thanks a lot,
Bryan
Oh and FYI the phone encountered some water damage a while back
Ist dies eine gute Frage?
Water damage is a tricky thing. How bad was the water damage? I myself have fixed phones with water damage only to have them last weeks. I do have one still out there that is going strong after about a year though.

It was pretty bad but it was working fine for about a month up until about a week ago and now a new thing is going wrong everytime i fix something lol. I just dont get why it would turn off like that when it was working for a couple of hours after my repair job

Is it recognized in iTunes?

No itunes isnt recognizing it but it did as soon as the repair was done and was working. As soon as i pressed the back plate in with some force everything stopped working all together.

Check your flex cables for proper routing, make sure they are seated properly and ensure that none of the cables have a tear in it.
