Since dropping my phone all text messages are out of order.

Recently I dropped my phone. Back and battery fell out. Now when I get a text I click on text icon and all previous texts appear (I have kept several for various reasons).But instead of them being in order from newest to oldest, I have to scroll down to one certain text in particular and find the new text directly below. Then I open the new text. If I have kept my conversation history with this person I have the same problem. I have to scroll to a certain point in time to find newest text. It takes ages and is very annoying. Also all the dates seem wrong. There is even an entry for 1980. Can anybody help me please as this is very frustrating. PS My phone is Sony Ericcson Xperia (not X10)

I am having the same issue and I did not drop my phone. The problems started just a couple of days ago when I noticed my battery life went from 60% to 15% in a short time. I charged it for about 20 minutes to get enough life to get me home and also took out the battery (which I need to do every so often to restart it as it locks it self for some odd reason). Once it restarted, I had 51 missed messages and no one had called! I noticed today my clock was out of wack but managed to fix that but the text messages are still out of order. Today, I had my husband text me to test it and I had a problem finding his text until I scrolled through all his texts and noticed it was sent January 7, 1980. Maybe we went through a twilight zone? LOL!!
