I need a Logic board?!

My logic board is not working anymore..not so well anyway ...so i'm hoping any one would happen to know where i can buy one? like a website or anything like that? I'm looking for a new one. thanx!

Also...fyi: my coke fell near the left speaker...and spilled inside on the logic board...and though the laptop sometimes works the screen always stays black...do you have any idea if that can be solved without a new one or is it over?

know its alot but id really appreciate it!

Einstellungen

Hook it up to an external monitor to check the screen GPU and cables. Also hook up to another mac via firewire cable and boot holding the "T" key down to check your hard drive and logic board. Let us know the results and then we can tell if you need the logic board.

There are three different logic boards for this machine, the 2.4, 2.53, & the 2.66. Which one do you have?

How old is the MacBook Pro. If it's 2008, it could be a faulty NVIDIA processor. Take to an Apple store for them to test and if it fails the test, they'll replace the logic board for free up to 3 years from purchase.

I agree with Bruce. My screen would cut out but the computer would still be on and working but I couldn't see anything but a black screen. I took it to an Apple store and they replaced my logic board for free, haven't had a problem since and this happened in Jan 2010.
