I was using my Kindle Fire when the screen went black. The switch light goes on when I use the switch on the Kindle, I don't recall this happening before, but goes out after a second.
The Kindle was three quarter charged and I have fully charged it since. It appears to charge OK as the charging light changed from orange to green eventually but this changed nothing.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

try holding down the power button for like a minute. i would try to unplug then replug the battery if that doesn't work.
It could be your screen/digitizer.
