When I start up my Dell Inspiron 350, it begins with the Dell screen then proceeds to windows error recovery screen. It gives me two options, launch startup Repair or start windows normally. Either choice I pick leads me to a grey windows screen that stays grey. How can I find out what's wrong with my computer?

Sergio, does not sound like a hardware problem but more like a software issue. You could try to reinstall your OS or set your BIOS to boot from optical drive or USB port. Then get a life copy of any LINUX program (I prefer Puppy Linux) and see if your system boots and runs okay. IF it does, you know it is a software error. If it does not, you are looking at hardware, possibly a bad video card. Hope this helps, good luck.
