Packard Bell Netbook dot s why is my Internet not responding?

When I load a website in Internet Explorer 11, I frequently get a message across the top of the screen: 'Internet Explorer (Not Responding)'. This often happens too when I've been using a website for a few minutes. I then get an onscreen box saying Windows is searching for a solution, but I usually cancel this and wait until the page finally loads.
