How to Re Paint Mac Pro Logo on Mac Pro A1186?
Anyone know how to re paint the apple logo on a Mac Pro? Is there a stencil I can use?

You will need to create your own here.
Best thing to do is find a good picture of a system to use a reference if you want to match it. Otherwise go wild :-}
One of our graphic artist years ago gave his system one h(b)ell of a tattoo job! Between the pin stripes and other flourishes it was hard thinking it wasn't a jazzed up car ;-)

we want to just repaint it same color and same color logo because we have alot but they are scuffed up. we want to sell. We have for the main color but I need to find a stencil to repaint the logo. Can you help?
Apple never offered anything. We have long since migrated to the newer Mac Pro systems so I can't offer you anything on this series. BTW the system was not painted is was just anodized aluminum with Black paint for the labeling on the front & back if I remember clearly. Are you sure you have the right Mac Pro model here.
yes a1186 2008. We have alot but they have scratch marks but we want to refurbish them. Re paint them same color but the apple logo will be hard to re paint. Is that a sticker on it or was it painted on? Because i would have to get a stencil to match it exact to repaint it
While I understand your wish to paint the covers, the system was never painted! So anything you do here will alter what people are expecting.
The finish was a fine wire brush look, maybe you can locate a sheet metal worker would can match the look and resurface the badly scratched panels. There is a limit here of spending to much effort or money. People aren't looking for perfect in used systems. As long as your clear on the condition I think you can forgo the extra work.
