How to disable "Paper Jam" check on HP Photosmart B8550 Photo Printer?

I'm doing a custom project wich requires to dissasemble the whole printer and install it on a different base (not the original printer housing). When I plug it in again, there is a "Papaer jam" error but there is no paper. I would like to know what is the check or device that tells the printer there is a jam and how to disable it.
