1 Replacing battery with other MacBook battery?
Quick question, my brother-in-law has a busted up 13" Macbook Pro, model number A1278, and it no longer works. He took it with him to Afghanistan during his tour and it stopped working.
My macbook is the A1342 13" Macbook unibody, and my battery needs replacing very badly. Is it possible to take out the Macbook Pro battery and throw it in mine, or will it not seat correctly/ not have the right connections? I've looked everywhere else and can't find anyone attempting this.

I don't think the screw holes line up right. I'm not sure if there's a difference in voltage but I've tried the same thing and the holes just don't line up.
