Why is my screen gray and fuzzy with random lines?
I dropped my ipod and then the screen is gray all the time and it has lines on it. You can hardly see it and it drives me nuts.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

The drop apparently damaged you screen. It needs to be replaced.
Try a simple reboot first: press and hold home button + power button for ~12 seconds then restart.
If no change like I suspect, then follow this guide which shows how to replace the screen and also has links to the needed tools and parts.
