Are the photo's you are using from the above MacBook?

look, the photo's you have provided looks nothing like what i have under the hood i.e.. (quad core). my mid 2014 model that i have has a straight bar over the quad core, nothing like what is presented in your photos.

any explanation would be most helpful.

How about giving us the last four figures of your serial number so we can identify YOUR exact machine.
