I was wondering if someone knows if the display assembly for a Samsung Galaxy S5 G900 is compatible with the model Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus G901F. The only thing that changed from the S5 to the S5 Plus version were some chips so I'm wondering if i can use one on it because I find no other assemblies.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?
I tried a cheap g900 screen off ebay and it caused my phone to bootloop. not sure if the display was faulty or if the g900 displays simply don't work on the g901f

hello ,it looks the same but is not the display from normal s5 g900f is not compatible with th s5 901f Plus ! is different hardware ! is the same from s2 to s2 plus ! not compatibel is not work ! you must buy for samsung galaxy s5 plus g901f ! and the hardware is different to ! ok if you google it looks like the same but the display from s5 900f is different ! the other problem is that most of the seller write the screen sale name and that's basically wrong but easier for customers ! if you buy thenn buy for the right phone !

This is an odd one. Several people have reported that a 901 screen in a 900 phone and vice versa, wil cause a boot loop. However, I've found this not to be the case, both with genuine screens pulled from phones and with cheap chinese ones. It seems that at some point, software on phones and hardware on screens 'met in the middle'.

Hi. Are You sure that cheap chinese IPS from G900F will work with G901F?

With one of these Chinese IPS displays (advertised as being for SM-G900F) I had a bootloop with the G901F.

Not the same,not usable.dont bye,fore the 901,back is bras,and thiner,900 back is like foame,and thicker.
