9.9 EVINRUDE WAS RUNNING FINE ON LAST YEARS GAS. i ADDED 3 GALLONS OF NEW GAS WITH THE OIL MIXTURE TO THE OLD GAS WENT TO START IT AND NOW IT CHOKES OUT WHEN i HIT THE THROTTLE.

Any time a two-stroke engine is having trouble, try replacing the spark plug. Mixture adjustment may cure this, but, then again, it may mess things up even worse than they are now. Good luck!
