My wab file became corrupt. I reinstalled win xp to repair outlook express, but my wab file still won't work. It was renamed as jason.wab~ , but it won't open. I tried to delete the tilda to no avail. Are there any programs to try to salvage some of the data?

Right click on the WAB File | Properties and make sure the Read Only attribute is not checked.
In OE: open the Address Book and File | Import | Address Book (wab) and point to the WAB file.
