Touch not responding sometimes I think it's static electricity

I have an iphone 6 plus and recently i changed the front glass using Uv Glue method. I finish the process and power up the phone, lcd looks nice, no spots nothing. But when i use the phone i realized that the touch sometimes responds bad on the top of the screen, except for this when phone laying flat touch not respond at all. When i plug in to a charger touch works perfect. I reset the phone but same issue. They told my it is static electricity but i don't know exactly. Can you please help me? Can i do something to fix this issue? Hope to respond my question Ian really desperate! Thanks

Refurbishing screens is a tricky business. If the amount of glue is in excess, touch will act erratically.

Test your phone with known good screen, I think it will work normally. In which case replace your screen.

I don't think that's the problem. Why do you explain that when i put the usb cable and i charge the phone it works great? And sometimes it works great when i have the phone on my hands and sometimes the top screen responds bad. The touch on the top is not dead but has delay, I have to stay my finger for 1-2 seconds to respond... when i have the phone laying flat and no usb charger then the touch stop working at all. So strange behavior

The USB cable is actually the proof that what I am saying is true. Touch screens work by detecting your fingers through... electricity, you guessed right! Since the refurbishing is unsuccessful, the screen is not responsive enough until its responsiveness is boosted by the charging process which seems to load the screen with electricity. This behavior can be verified by using a copy lightning cable with an iPhone 5C (this model is the most affected by static electricity from cheap cables): the phone's digitizer works erratically and is over sensitive.

On the other hand, if the digitizer cable is damaged or improperly seated, one or all the following happen: no touch on part or all the screen (ALL the time, not intermittently), possibly lines on the screen. But never ever so far have I seen or heard of a screen with a damaged digitizer cable that works when there is a USB cable connected. By the way, the cable you're using is original or a copy?

you say that i put more Uv Glue that need? Maybe i can do the process again and save this screen

ii use an original Charger but the charging cable is not original but it is OEM, good quality!

John, Don't kid yourself re OEM cables. Good cables are original or MFI.

All the rest are bad or worse.

Unfortunately.

Hi John,

It is possible that you have damaged the digitiser during replacing the glass, the only way to resolve this is replacing the whole screen. :-)
