iPad Mini 1/2 Adhesive on 3?

Hello I was wondering if the iPad Mini 1/2 Adhesive strips from iFixIt work on the iPad Mini 3, I spent a half hour searching for a good adhesive but all the ones i've found people have said were bad or were the wrong type. Thank you for whoever could answer this, I just got an iPad Mini 3 with a cracked glass front panel, and have been searching/watching replacement videos for a few days, though, still nothing on adhesive and i'm currently covering every piece and every connector to the iPad Mini 3 to ensure I don't screw up and ruin this new tablet.

Also additional question for the home button, will it be required to de-solder/solder the old home button/touch sensor onto the new digitizer front panel? (the panel from iFixIt without the working/non touch sensor home button/home buttonnot included)

Not many videos on it and the ones where I've seen are really hit and miss on answering, same goes for extensive googling and searching.
