no ring for incoming calls

Phone does not ring when a call comes in. When ringtone is checked, it plays loud. I know I have an incoming call is if I see the phone light up or hear the voice telling me the name of a contact that is calling. I have gone through all of the tool settings and modes, and have changed the ringtone, but still the phone will not ring (play tone) when I have an incoming call. I get a lot of missed calls and voice mails, even when the phone is near me.

Please help. I love my phone and do not want to buy a new one.

Your phone might be on "sleep" mode… I have an iPhone so I am unsure where you could locate your "sleep mode" …. Hope this helps.

There's volume buttons on the side. Give that a try

I looked at my Voyager at home. You have to hold down the Z key to take it off vibrate mode!

Always try turning iphone completely off. Wait a few seconds. Turn back on and see if ring now working on all apps

Have you resolved issue of your phone not ringing on incoming calls? I have the same problem and I haven't gotten any help I could use yet. I get the ring tone in my setting though but that's not a consolation.

There is a switch above the volume button (left side). This switch must cover the orange bar in order for the phone to ring when called. If orange bar is exposed, phone will only vibrate. I fixed my own problem.
