Will the iPhone 6 work normally with the camera's unplugged

My company doesn't allow camera's so I was wondering if I unplug and remove both camera's will the phone still work?

In other words, can I save $90 if I remove the cameras myself and still have a working Phone?

Yes I know it will void the warranty.

I mean.. Yeah.. It'll work. What do you mean, remove them and have a working camera?

Oops, I mean will the phone still function normally with the cameras out or will it freeze, etc, with the os expecting to find the camera's.

Only if you try to use the camera functions. Then the camera "program" will freeze. But you should be able to home button exit out of that field. Worst case scenario, you can restart your phone, and it'll work just fine. You'll have to stay out of the camera field, though

You mean just don't re-enable FaceTime, etc?

I would think so also but I was hoping one of the iFixit crew would hop in and say for sure seeing's how they already took one apart.

Anyway, thank you. I guess I'll try it next weekend and I'll find out for sure.

I was hoping to save the camera's to re-enable them when I handed it down or got rid of it.

You know, while you will opening some app where camera is main functuin then You will have a phone freeze, but then it just needs to close app (2x home button)
