Display issues with MacBook Pro

One day in the morning my MacBook Pro won't turn on. Searched all forums did SMC reset NVRAM reset with no result. I opened and disconnected the battery connector waited for 1 min and reconnected it started but now having display issues. It will start but display will go with black screen. When I disconnect the small battery indicator connector next to battery connector the display will come on and work without problem when I put it back the display will go black . When it's on with battery indicator connector unplugged it works fine with no issues with battery either . Not sure what is the issue and what to do next.
