Smoke coming out of steam wand and won't pour shots.

Haven't been able to pour shots for a long time, thought pump was the problem. But steam wand worked. Just last night made 3 steamed drinks fine, then fourth tasted like smoke. Wand lost pressure. Is my machine dead or can it be fixed?

If you weren't running the pump to refill the boiler with water between each drink then you probably steamed your boiler dry and damaged the heating element. If the machine no longer heats up or is popping your GFCI then you will need to replace the heating element, which does require pulling and rebuilding the boiler.
