when i turn on my smartphone s4 samssung it doesnt get past through the t mobile logo what could i do

von

mine is an LG Optimus (something with a 9) and I have the white screen with the pink T-Mobile letters. I can turn it off and see the little circle for charging, it quick flashes to the black LG logo quick and goes to the white screen. Ive hard started by taking out the battery and it just always goes to the white screen and does nothing.

von

So what happens if I can't shut off my phone when it's stuck on that screen ? Wait until the battery dies ?

Thank you for your help.

Sherri

When stuck on Tmobile logo, do a master reset and then wait for about 5-6 mins while the phone is stuck on the carrier logo screen. afterwards the phone will start to finish the installation and will resume booting up.

Your stuck on the "Splash Screen or "Carrier Logo" Try booting into safe mode.Power on the device and when the phone starts to boot up, hold the power for about 7 -10 seconds, when the white alcatel splash screen with the blue writing on the screen comes up, immediately start pressing both of the volume buttons at the same time. If your lucky... the phone will boot into safe mode.

UMM yeah can somebody tell me whats wrong with it as it turns on but only to the logo manufacturers logo on the screen &says powered by android

von

My Samsung GS3 won't open up past the T- mobile logo after I factory reset it. It won't even go into safe mode when I tried holding all the buttons as instructed.

von

Thanks, for the solution as my alcatel C9 pop smartphone was stuck in the logo screen and cannot turn on.

von

I had the same issue and after playing around with it I fixed it. There is an app that stopping your phone from booting pass the carrier logo. Hopefully your phone was recently backed up. Do a factory reset and restore your phone. Limit how much app to restore. If you want to go the extra mile then restart your phone after installing a new app. You can figure out which app screws with ur phone

von

Does anyone even read solutions before posting. Boot your phone in safe mood and do a factory reset. Hopefully you have backed up your phone. Only reinstall apps you really need. There is an app preventing your phone from properly booting. Mine was an app word scamble.

When it starts to reboot hold down the power key till it goes black then hold both the power button and the UP volume. It goes into a safe mode and gives you options

When it get to safe mode and options what do I click on ?

von

I did exactly that and it went to safe mode but I had no idea what to click on when I got there, please help me Paul @paulcl

von

Paul, you use your volume buttons up or down until you get to the line that says RESTART IN SAFE MODE.

When you've got that line highlighted (by going up or down the list using your volume keys) - can't reiterate that enough - let go of the volume keys, and hold down your start up button. You might have to press on it for a steady couple of minutes before it restarts, but it will eventually. Conversely, some people have better luck pressing the start key rapidly over and over again until it restarts. Try my way first, as I think continuously pressing and releasing rapidly might confuse the p hone. As in, "Do you want to start up or shut down? Make up your mind, sheesh.."

Please disregard if you've already figured it out, but someone else might come along with the same question.

Cheers,

S

p.s. then when it restarts, it will be in safe mode. From there, do a factory reset (this will wipe out all of your apps, email, etc., and you will have to reload them all again - sorry - unless you've recently backed up your phone, all your data will be erased. If you did back up your phone recently, you can add it all back with your backup file, but I know mine was also caused by an app incompatibility issue, so you might want to reload each app and check to see if it causes it again.

Oh really I think he did turn it on and wait already better answer next time thanks

von

This is actually the answer, Just wait 5-6 mins after performing master reset while the phone is stuck in the carrier logo screen. If phone starts to heat up don't worry, wait the time and the phone will reboot and say that its installing and optimizing the apps.

How is that going to affect my SD card?

I took the back out, pulled out my battery and SD CARD, kept my SD card out - put the battery back in, rebooted it and it went past the T-Mobile screen for me. I have an LG Phone...

when i turn on my smartphone Samsung galaxy grand prime doesn't get past through the first screen which shows "Samsung galaxy grand prime powered by android", and its blinking. I tried to open through safe mode by pressing and holding the three button you said. First a warning page came, I pressed continue and a page shows OS is downloading, but I waited for 5 hours it didn't complete. I think you will help me.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Light phone (i forgot the full name), its about 4+ years old. It's my old phone, (it's pretty slow, but still works for when i get my phone taken away by my parents and have to do my snapchat streaks in secret {LOL}.) i have pictures and videos that were NOT BACKED UP AND I WANT TO KEEP, i do not have these pics and videos saved to an sd card (the sd card that used to be in this device was taken out 2 years ago). my phone will not go past the T-Mobile boot screen. I was updating my phone, and it froze when the phone went to restart, so i rebooted it and it wouldnt go past the T-mobile bootscreen and im FREAKING OUT. those videos cannot be replaced, as they were from years ago!! What do i do?? and how can i fix this problem??? im pretty sure ive successfully figured out how to get the phone to shut down, and ive tried turning it back on, but it still wont work. ive tried taking out the battery and putting it back in, still no luck. i dont wanna do anything else without getting an opinion in fear of losing those videos and photos. someone please help me!! (im thinking maybe this was caused by an app that was installed, but wouldnt let me un-install, so when i went to update the phone, it caused a problem??)

i hope someone sees this and has a solution, if any of you do, please please please, feel free to reply and or email me - Leo.jadedarkness@gmail.com

thanks again.

I'm having the same exact problem. I've gotten 2 phones since, and I want it as a backup. Unfortunately, the odds of you keeping your videos is roughly 00.005%. I've done the master reset, wiping everything out in the process, and it's still stuck. I can't even turn the phone off without taking out the battery. I just noticed that you're supposed to wait 5-6 minutes after doing the master reset, and it's been 4 minutes. This doesn't help you, I know, but ultimately, having an operational phone may be your only option. Should I get mine to go past tgat stupid ass white screen that says "T MOBILE 4G LTE", I'll update you. It's now been 5 minutes and nothing. I think we may both be screwed honestly. I had pictures of my son the day he died on there, and they are gone from the phone. Luckily, my wife had them on here. If you figure out how to get it past that screen, please email me at: scott1977tracy@gmail.com and let me know how you did it. Best of luck!

I have a Oneplus Nord N10 and I was trying to place it in a VR headset (what it’s supposed to do) and then it rebooted and it immediately went to the T-Mobile screen and won’t start up. I’ve tried everything from restarting it again, clearing the cache, recovery mode, etc. I’ve looked up multiple solutions but none of them worked. Does anyone have a different one?
