I cant get my ipod touch to turn on no matter what i try. When i do the press home button and power button thing it says i need to restore so i hit restore. But then it says a restore cannot be done with an error code 2009. What does that mean and is there any hope of fixing it?

Got error 2009 so I tried a different sub cable and port and worked for me

Similar to this, I plugged the cable into the computer directly (instead of an external port where other cables are plugged in) and restarted the computer. Updated the software and all systems go.

I have the same error during the latest firmware update. During the firmware update, it stuck at “connect to itunen/restore “. The service center told me that the mother board got faulty. What? Firmware update cause mother board damage?

told me mother board faulty at 2 shop's
same lmao i was on tiktok with my iphone 7 and it turned off and now when im restoring it it gets stuck in the apple logo ;)
