1 To repair must first power off but screen slide doesnt work
Your replacing battery instructions reads:
"This can result in white lines or a blank screen when powering your phone back on. If that happens, simply reconnect the cable and power cycle your phone. The best way to power cycle your phone is to disconnect and reconnect the battery."
OK but to reopen and try to fix it, first I need to POWER OFF', There is no way to do it since the screen is totally unresponsive, it shows those while lines.
So PLEASE let me know a SURE way to power off. Thaks.

Thanks for the tip about "power OFF". However even after repeating the whole step by step I did to replace the battery, the screen is still unresponsive. I can see a faint grid and both slides to "UNLOCK" and "POWER OFF" don't work. What can I do next? If I knew that "the easy battery replacement" could make the phone unusable I would never even attempted to do it. :-(
