Why my camera couldn't start?

my camera couldn't start at all, it only displays; connecting to computer.

what could i do to fix it?

Hi,

Have you tried removing the battery. With the battery removed press and hold the shutter button for approximately 10 seconds. Release the shutter button Then re insert the battery and see if it starts OK. Hopefully the camera will have been reset.

I have same problem... but i discover something when you remove the battery and press and hold the power button and put the battery. without release the power button the camera turn on for few seconds and said "connecting to computer" again.
